TAX DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS

Gifts to Mission Fever are tax-deductible. At the end of each year giving statements will be mailed to donors for tax filing purposes.

FAMILY & FRIENDS FIVE & TEN: OUR FIRST MONTHLY SUPPORT CAMPAIGN!

We are launching Family & Friends Five & Ten and we need 100 people to commit to $5 or $10 on a monthly basis as an automatic debit or credit card draft. With your permission we'd like to publish your name along with all the other names. If you'd prefer to remain anonymous, that's OK.

Our greatest need right now is monthly support. People tend to think if they cannot give large amounts, they can give nothing at all. Non-profits find that their greatest base of support is from two sources: Large one time gifts and many small monthly gifts.

OF COURSE ONE TIME GIFTS ARE APPRECIATED!

Undesignated gifts go to the general fund for the operation of Mission Fever. Designated gifts are handled accordingly.

OTHER NEEDS:

(1) A church in one of the out island of the Bahamas would like to build a bunk house to house volunteer groups at minimal expense to participants. The estimated cost of the bunk house is $50,000.

(2) We'd like to send a pastor's wife in a remote area of the Caribbean a quality pressure cooker. Because electricty is very expensive in this remote place, pressure cookers cut cooking time in half. The estimated cost of purchasing and shipping the pressure cooker is $250.

(3) A church in the Caribbean needs air-conditioning. The estimated cost of purchasing, shipping, and installing the air-conditioning is $25,000.

(4) A missionary in Africa named Susan Canida, needs $10,000 to fulfill the rest of her two year commitment in Burkina.

LONG TERM VISION: ENDOWMENTS

How about a scholarship to lower the cost of a trip given to a deserving person in your name or in honor of someone else? You name the scholarship, the write qualifications to apply, you review the applications, you choose the recipient. The purpose of an endowment is that it remain forever with the interest going toward a designated cause. We are not aware of another missions outfitter that provides this service. Endowments do not have to be designated for a specific scholarship or cause, but can fund the ongoing work of Mission Fever. On average, endowments earn about 5% interest annually. For an endowment to be worthwhile, $10,000 is suggested. If you are interested in talking about this further, please inquire.

Please inquire if you'd like to you have any questions about the needs listed on this page: info@missionfever.com
